Actor Josh Duhamel whisked his wife Fergie off to a luxury resort to celebrate their first wedding anniversary – and surprised the pop star by organizing a secret vow renewal ceremony on the beach.

The couple wed on January 10, 2009 in Malibu, California, but have faced a rocky first year as husband and wife after a stripper alleged she had a fling with the Transformers star.

The Hollywood hunk dismissed the rumours as false, and the pair has fought to keep their marriage together.

And Duhamel proved his commitment to his wife just days before their anniversary, by flying Fergie by helicopter to the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara for a secluded beach side ceremony to renew their wedding vows.

According to People.com, the Black Eyed Peas singer was “crying and very emotional” as they took part in the 15-minute service.

A source tells the website, “It was a total surprise for Fergie.”
